WATER WISE

RAINWATER, RECONSIDERED

A better placefor the rain.

Rainwater systems considered from roof to garden. An imagined installation practice bringing the whole water journey into view.

A CONNECTED WAY OF THINKING

It starts with a roof.
It belongs to the whole place.

A water system is more than a tank. It is the relationship between a building, a landscape and the people who care for both. That is where our imagined practice begins.

Site & system thinking

Understand the existing property before proposing a new piece of infrastructure.

Property context / intended use / constraints

Collection & storage

Consider collection routes and storage as part of the building, rather than an afterthought.

Roof routes / location / maintenance access

Landscape connections

Explore how an outdoor water-use idea could sit within the wider landscape.

Garden intentions / drainage questions / care

EXPLORE THE RELATIONSHIPS

One journey.
Different conversations.

Choose a part of the system to look a little closer. Your selection carries into the project note below.

Concept only. Not engineering, plumbing or water-quality advice.

The roof

Begin where it lands.

The journey starts with the building: its roof surfaces, existing gutters and the routes water already takes. A useful first conversation is about what is there.

A real assessment would consider roof materials, condition, access and the intended use of collected water.

Add your property context

EVERY SITE HAS ITS OWN STORY

What kind of place
are you thinking about?

A smaller footprint. Begin the conversation with access, shared boundaries and the outdoor space available.

FROM FIRST QUESTION TO EVERYDAY CARE

Good infrastructure
begins with listening.

Our imagined approach leaves room for the details that a diagram cannot show.

Put your thoughts on paper

Read the place.

A conversation about the property, your intentions and the questions a site visit would need to answer.

Draw the relationships.

Bring the building, storage and landscape into one clear discussion. Identify what needs specialist assessment.

Plan for the everyday.

Discuss access, installation disruption, handover and ongoing care before any real work is agreed.

A USEFUL STARTING POINT

Bring questions.
We will start there.

Where does the rain go now?

What would you like to use it for?

Who would look after the system?

These are sample conversation prompts. You do not need technical answers to explore the demo.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Before you
take the next step.

Is this a real installation company?

WATER WISE is a fictional website concept. It has no real service area, installation team, certifications or customer projects. The note below is a local demonstration.

Can this tell me which system my property needs?

No. The explorer describes a conceptual relationship between roof, storage and garden. It cannot determine suitability, capacity, structural requirements, plumbing, drainage or water quality.

Does the diagram show drinking-water use?

No drinking-water system is represented. Any real intended use, treatment, labelling, separation and connection would need assessment by an appropriately qualified professional under local requirements.

What about cost, rebates and environmental savings?

This concept gives no price, rebate, capacity or environmental saving estimate. Those depend on a real property, location, design and verified information.

What happens when I prepare a note?

A summary appears on this page only. Nothing is submitted, booked or stored. Reloading or leaving the page clears the note.
